California has some of the worst air pollution in the country. This committee focuses on the human health threats associated with poor air quality that is caused by our fossil fuel economy, which includes drilling for oil, relying on fossil fuels for energy, and fossil fuel-driven vehicles. In order to improve air quality and decrease greenhouse gases that cause climate change, this committee focuses on policies and practices that will stop drilling in the state, accelerate the electrification of all vehicles (cars, school buses, trucks, ships), and move towards a fossil fuel-free economy. The Committee members work collaboratively with the American Lung Association and the Last Chance Alliance Coalition.

Team meetings are ongoing and meets every Fourth Tuesday of Every Month @ 4:00 pm PST.
