Air Quality
This content focuses on how air quality—both outdoor and indoor—affects human health and highlights nurses’ roles and responsibilities in addressing these impacts. Participants will gain essential knowledge about the health effects of air pollution, with particular attention to pollutants from fires. These sessions will also cover the latest science on effective mask use during poor air quality events, the influence of transportation policies on air and health, and strategies for identifying major sources of air pollution in local communities.
