CNEHJ staff on the Extreme Heat grant, which funde CNEHJ staff on the Extreme Heat grant, which funded by the Governor’ Office of Land Use and Climate Integration under the Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resilience Program, attended the statewide LISTOS program to discuss disaster readiness in the state.  In attendance were dozens of grassroots organizational members.

We will discuss how climate change impacts children’s health through sessions on water, heat and farmworker safety, sustainable healthcare, disaster preparedness, and air quality. The day will include a mix of presentations, discussion, and opportunities to connect with experts working in environmental health. Participants can earn 5 FREE nursing continuing education credits while learning alongside nurses, health professionals, and advocates.
